Thankyou for visiting this website. On my journey as a professional musician I have toured Germany, Portugal, Norway, The Canaries, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England extensively, playing Theatres Festivals Clubs and Pubs including The Old Duke in Bristol, The 100 Club and Pizza Express in London and Glastonbury Festival. I have also had music commissioned for a BBC radio drama and have several sync licence placements.
Living in Bristol and playing 4 and 5 string Electric Bass and Double Bass, I am available for session work and teaching. I have great gear, reliable transport and a professional attitude. Rotosound Strings have endorsed me as an artist for the majority of my career and I continue to have a great relationship with this iconic British string company. I use EBS and Markbass amplification and Fender, Musicman and Overwater Basses.
I have played live with Ian Matthews (Kasabian), Trevor Mires (Incognito), John Baggott (Massive Attack), Jonny Henderson (Robben Ford), Stew Jackson (Phantom Limb), Scott Hammond (Jethro Tull), Muddy Manninen (Wishbone Ash), Pete Gage (Dr Feelgood), Mark Morgan (Big Town Playboys), Tom Gilkes (Willie and the Bandits), Pete Mathison (Ray Davis), Barry Steele:The Roy Orbison Story, Lewis Creaven, Reverend Robert, Eddie Martin, Jon Amor, Innes Sibun, Alex Hutchings, Gwyn Ashton, Anders Olinder, Mike Hoddinotts Blues Allstars, Patsy Gamble, Lady Nade, Holly Carter, Keith Thompson, Nikki Lamborn, Tom Collison, Steve Gibbons, James Oliver, Ruzz Guitar, Will Edmunds, Ben Fletcher, Joe Wilkins and Elles Bailey to name a few.
Being invited to appear on recordings by artists including Lewis Creaven, The Black Feathers, The Rossellys, James Oliver and Simon Arlidge has been very rewarding. These sessions have featured players such as John Garden (Scissor Sisters), Gary Alesbrook (Noel Gallagher), Jonny Bruce (Moscow Drug Club), Paul Quinn (Katie Brooks), Daisy Palmer (Paloma Faith) and Ollie Harding (The Shires). These recordings have been engineered and produced by people including Jim Barr (Portishead), John David (Love Sculpture), and John Leckie (Radiohead, Muse).
